Warping my Child

Having all this time off has been great (except for the $$ part), I get to spend LOTS of time with Pamela and Jacob. The downside of this of course will come when I do find a job and we all have to get used to not having each other around for company during the day.

Of course with the good, comes the bad .. I have learned many many many tunes from kids shows. All of them are catchy and not too offensive (yet). The theme song for Franklin is done by Bruce Cockburn (Yes, Yes, I know that the RugRats theme is done by Mark Mothersbaugh (DEVO)). My favorite tune these days though is the 'mail song' from Blues Clues -

Here's the mail, it never fails.
It makes me want to wag my tail.
When it comes I want to wail - Mail!

I can't wait to teach that one Jacob.

His MorFar wants to teach him the quote -

It was the best of times,
It was the worst of times.

thats Dickens ... but you knew that ...

And of course his mother, instead of teaching him the 'Hokey Pokey' wants to teach him the 'Time Warp'.

Dave ...
