First Photo

This is pretty interesting, It's the First Documented Photograph . It's from 1826, It's not on paper but on a pewter plate. The heliographers (he referred to it as a heliograph, in honor of the sun) name is Joseph Niepce.

Think about that ... Its close to 200 years old. 200 years we've been taking pictures. It's just within the past 50 years that it's become affordable for anyone, and then the past 10 years that the digital revolution has occurred and allowed for almost anyone to take a photo.

The move to digital has allowed us all to take more pictures, LOTS more. Snap away all you want, when your memory card gets full then just delete some and move on.

I have started a folder of Jacob pics, pictures that he takes with our digital camera. He has an interesting perspective. Sooner or later I am going to have to buy a new digital camera and give him our old one. He will love that.
