Pamela and the boys out

With Pamela and the boys out of town in South Carolina, I had hoped that I would get lots of yardwork done. This was of course in addition to lots of planned BF2 gaming. Well, it ended up raining all weekend long and I was unable to get the yardwork I deemed necessary done. I did however get my share of BF2 played. I had hoped to get a good Lan Party going, but it never quite materialized.
Friday night a few of the guys came over and we played for a bit, then Saturday it was more of the same. Sunday I caught up on chores, went to the market, made bread, vacuumed, mowed what I could before the family came back. My PC was still out in the dining and network connections weren't up in the office but I pointed out to Pamela that if I hadn't have had to talk to her the whole drive from the Farm to the house I'd have been able to get more done.
I always miss them terribly even though I get to eat bad foods, stay up late, sleep until **mumble 11am *mumble, when they pull in the driveway the day is always brighter and better.
