A friend of mine has a daughter, thirteen years old. Tomorrow is Career Day, or Take A Kid To Work Day, or some such thing. So whose job does she want to learn more about?

How cool is that? Not only that she thinks of mothering/homeschooling as a career (damn few adults do) but that she wants to see how *I* do it!
Of course, I'm going to feel compelled to Show Off and maximize every. single. teachable. moment. that crosses our path. I'm going to irritate the living shit out of poor Cub, I just know it.
Please, God, let me not make an ass of myself in front of these children. Amen.
