Today is our anniversary, Pamela and I were married 3 years ago today. On the top deck of a beach house down at St. George Island by our loving friend Cindy. Later on in the month (30th) we'll celebrate the 'church wedding', but this was our actual official wedding. It was a nice warm night on the gulf the breeze was light and the stars were bright. By the time the ceremony went down it was around 10pm. All the friends gathered up on the deck for the ceremony. The song of the evening was 'The Love Boat' theme. Appropriate I think. Everyone got weepy (yes, everyone .. blame it on the tequila). A night that will live in infamy.
Here it is three years later, and well, I love her more now that I did the day I married her, I love her more now than when I first met her, or the morning that I stood in that small room and was the first person in the world to hold Jacob and look into his face and feel his baby breath on my cheek.
In my heart I've been married to Pamela much longer than 3 years. I knew the first time I met her (on a Christmas Eve) that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. And now I am. yea! She's my best friend, my confidant, my lover. There is no one else I want to look at, she is my Venus.
Alot has happened in our lives these past three years, time seems to have flown by. We've been to Denmark a few times, bought a house, I've had two cars die on me, gained a dog.
We've fallen into a comfortable groove, lots of good friends around us, in-laws (both sides) close by, nice neighborhood. A little boy and his silly animals to entertain us ... It's a good life.
