Well, the boy has been babbling for a few months now throwing in a word or two that are recognizable. We taught him some basic signs early on to help him communicate with us easier. And lately I he's been putting signs together (eat please, done please) to make simple sentences but apparently he's taken it to the verbal level this morning. He and Pamela were playing blocks and as she began to stack blocks he pushed her hands away and said 'I do, I do' followed by an 'oh nooooo' as he knocked them over. Woo! Sentences!
I'm not sure if I should encourage this, once he starts speaking I will never get a word in edgewise in a conversation in my house again. Between he and Pamela I'll probably spend entire weekends only being allowed to talk in one word sentences.
Also realize (for those friends and Eager grandparents that actually read this site) that he is very prone to NOT perform on command and it'll probably be a while before he actually does this little trick for anyone but his Mama.
