Alton Brown is my cooking inspiration (almost typed Hero, but that word gets bandied around too much these days. That's really another rant that I'll type up at some point.)
ANYWAY, Last night Pamela and I were staring each other down trying to decide who was going to make dinner and what they were going to make. It got to the point where it was going to have to be something quick because it was coming up on the Cubs bedtime. Pamela suggested Mac-N-Cheese and I said 'Sure! Lets try Altons version'. (DOH! I blinked, I must do the cooking now .. )
After a quick click out to the Food TV website we found the recipe in the GOOD EATS section and headed toward the kitchen. We decided to make a double batch, and let me tell you it was a good thing we that was decided. I'll NEVER buy Kraft again, it was so simple to make and tasted soooo much better. Just cook the noodles, whisk together a few items, add cheese and stir! All three of us sat on the couch and made yummy noises for at least 30 minutes while we chowed down.
I just called home, they were eating on it again for Lunch .. They better leave me some!
